The Old Table

The Old Table

The style of this old autopsy table matched the "odd ball" one upstairs, although this has an orange hue - I can only assume it has been sitting down here for a good number of years when it was replaced with the stainless steel. The original legs are intact as well.

Creepy. Very nice & creepy.
Wonderful shot, Mr Motts
that would make a good work table, good for rolling out pastry.
wonder how many people were carved up on this table
Nice find. Love this shot.
It's sad thinking how many innocent children and adults were layed on this table.
I cried when I read the introduction to this awful place.
And to think we worry about how we live today.
Are our problems that bad considering what people had to go through during this awful and pitiful time?
this might be a good kitchen table for shawns place im thinkin. liven the place up a bit. ( :) sorry couldnt stop myself)
What creeps me out the most in this photo is the cupboard door, it's all faded and stuff...weird
horrible looking table, was that a bag for various parts on the top to the left?
lmao kayc
I should probably stop looking at these pictures before bed... but i can't! motts is awesome!
Hellо from Russia, Motts!

Yours photos are amasing!
But! Mistakes in this way are:

"Nine other bodies were also examined and identified; ... Paul Josef Goebbels, his wife Helga...:
--> Josef - Paul Joseph Goebbels - the first.
--> " his wife Helga"
His wifes name was Magda.
She officially had six children with Goebbels: Helga (!!!!!!) (1932), Hildegard (1934), Helmut (1935),
Hedwig 1937), Holdine (1938) and Heidrun (1940).
They all died in 1945 poisoned by their
mother.

Thank you for great photos!
Thank you DOG! I've updated with the correct information.
It's nice to help YOU, Motts!

"Helga Goebbels, the eldest child of six, after the autopsy, circa May 9th 1945. Bruises and a broken jaw hinted of a struggle before being injected with morphine. A cyanide tablet was later crushed in the children's mouths by their mother."

Amasing cruelty. I thought that their mother just crushed the flask with cyanide..
But yours signature... I could not find that fact anywhere. Is there a source? I'm sorry if it's a secret.
According to the history I've read, it is not known if the mother gave the morphine injection - and so the person who gave Helga the broken jaw is still a mystery. Some claimed Ludwig Stumpfegger drugged the children, but James O'Donnell claims he was simply a convenient target, as well as too intoxicated on that night (from his book: The Bunker).
