Three Slabs

Three Slabs

The autopsy room - you can see that the closest table appears to be much heavier and older than the others, which were stainless steel.

they sure look different than otehrs I've seen. Do you think it's due to different regulations, or due to the war?
I think it's just a matter of different countries having different styles, patents, etc. I've noticed a few common designs in the U.S. used around the country, as well as a "standard" type running through the English hospitals.
This is too cool. No graffiti either. Looks like they are waiting for customers.
I'm amazed these were left for so long undisturbed (until 2008, that is). The place is in pretty good condition, which is surprising.
imagine opening those pipes underneath ,ewwwww
imagine the smell in those pipes Nick....double EWWWWWW
What I wouldn't give for that first table. The others are ugly and...well...ugly, but that first one is nice.

Imagine putting it in the dining room (after a good cleaning and sanitization that is) for use and just *waiting* for "That's an odd table, where did you get it?"
that first one was for Frankenstein's monster i think
lol, Chrispy, especially if it was your annoying MIL who asked, just after picking up a piece of bread she'd dropped on the table and putting it in her mouth...

Sorry. I love my MIL dearly, but I'm lucky...
theres pics so far are amazing no mess all left how it was :) its great to see
I really love the creepy shadows in this one.
i think that this is amazing. There are hardly any place like this in Australia that are intact with the history still remaining inside.
Most places have been trashed and spray painted, which i find to be very sad as 'hospitals' such as these are a huge part of histroy and are fasinating.
Lemme tell ya, you've got some extra gut fortification for going to THESE places where systematic abuse and mass murder were actually plotted. (and govt. sanctioned too, as opposed to forgetting/under-funding/under-staffing) Wow!!
If the heat was cranked up really high, why are the windows open?
Probably from previous visitors gaining access to the building.

Somebody on my wavelength, love it!
I wonder which of these tables Hitler was on
