Sifter

A drying rack and a curious device that looked like it sifted things out while the rest drained into the basin below.

Wow...that's a creepy looking thing. That dryer rack kind of looks like spikes...(shudders)
Test tube drying rack? Just a thought.
You know, for a 109 year old hospital, she looks pretty good.
EMT557-

That sounds spot-on.
That does look kinda scary as well. If thats a test tube drying rack...than they'd have to be very large test tubes? Either way its still very scary looking. Ugh....IMO anyway......
that is a test tube drying rack, we had one like this in my high school
Lovely stark photo.....
Wow. Great shot. It does kind of look like a set piece from either the "Hostil" or "Saw" films.
reminds me of something a freaky doctor from this cartoon i watch would use...ekk.
Yup, we have a drying rack like that in our lab as well. Not so much for test tubes, but you can hang beakers and flasks on it. We also use the bottom rows for hanging brushes, wire whisks, rags, etc...
Not so sure about that weird sifter though... would love to know what it does!
it is a 19th century test tube sifter and is still sommetimes used in some schools
It's "Plinko" again!
the use for the sifter wasnt really explained enough for me, any one please care to elaborate? :D
urgh thats just creepy looks like something out of a sadistic horror movie
