The central stairwell was a aesthetic spiraling structure built into the original hospital. The outer wall of the building was rounded to accommodate this space.

From this angle, I was instantly reminded of the Great Barr Hall in England.

I found it interesting there was so much graffiti here, as most of your German locations were empty of vandalism.

The graffiti in and around Berlin was pretty heavy; some places were looking a lot like Byberry used to.

Yeah those steps don't look too good. No railing either. The graffiti is horrible. Anyone notice how very dark it looks under those stairs...almost like you don't know whats hiding under there.....scary....

Like ln the 60s to 67,I was a pacient at Pilgrim state mental hospital and I suffer a lot of abuse and still today I'm tramatized from that tortures and horror.
