WOW first post, better make it a good one!! I so envy Mr. Motts. He is living the life that I only dream about. Instead, I'm stuck behind this god awful desk. Well, you know, I have been taking my cameras out with me more often and scouting out places so for that I thank you. But I would never come close to your talent, Mr. Motts. Thank you!
Ah! Me hallway shot....Too bad there was nothing left from WWll.
It looks like a very lonely hallway...just think there haven't been many people walking down those hallways in so long probably. Motts was one of the first in a very long time I think? Could be wrong though......? Its kinda sad in some ways ......a building with no people......
One thing that has always emphasized the sense of abandonment in places like these are the dead fluorescent lights overhead. How long since they last glowed? What did they illuminate in their time? How eerie that they now preside in total stillness over the complete lack of artificial light? Yeah, it's weird, but I always notice them.

I guess these lights never saw much of anything going on... imagine if the war had not stopped construction, if this had actually come to fruition as a massive, mandatory getaway for the German population. What then would these hallways have housed? It would make a good alternative history novel....
i can't get enoght of these hallway shots, i love love LOVE them!
