This one took me a couple minutes to figure out. Then again, I am old. That is my story and I am sticking to it.
dont worry Tootuncommon im 19 and it took me a few mins lol
And I'm 17, and I still haven't quite got it. Very Escher, I like.
28...and completely stumped :p I got an overwhelming sense of vertigo when I first looked at it.

**Looks again...**

Nope. I still don't get it! I like it, though :)
50 and now that my head is spinning. . . I'm with Kez, I looked and looked and still can't make it out. Love it but can't figure it out. Vertigo YES
Clever picture. That bluishbrown part on bottom left corner is handrail.
POP! I get it! Thanks Wille, that was doing my nut in! Very clever indeed...
What a confusing conglomerate of concrete!!! OK, It took me a few minutes, and I had to read the hints above, and I got it too.....finally! Thanks for the hints, guys!
:-)
Holy Glockinspeil Batman. We'll never escape this trap !
Ow....my brain itches!
still can't figure it out
Oh wow, that took me a while to figure out...
My eyes hurt! I'm 36, read the hints, still don't get it. BUT, it is a cool shot Mr. Motts!
Wallpaper Please!
Makes me think of M.C. Escher
Heck, I'm 40 , and I still don't get this picture either......it is kinda confusing.....I'll have to look at it some more I guess.....interesting perspective though....Thanks Motts!!!!
Wow! This perspective made my head spin. I didn't get it for awhile, until I focused on the handrail. I absolutely LOVE this shot, Motts. It completely demonstrates your brilliance and natural photographic talent.

You simply MUST consider selling some of your work as prints. I want to decorate my whole house a la Motts.
this is kind of freaky, what do you think Debbie?
LOVE this!!! Great perspective and framing. For those who don't "see" it, I think Motts is standing on a landing or steps between two flights in a stairwell, shooting at the level just above, and the part that looks like duct work on the right is the underside of the next flight. Sorry if I'm wrong, Motts ;-o. Not presuming just a guess.
it takes awhile to get it thanks everyone for explaining it some times the mind just shuts down.
... Surely, this is a interesting picture and I wont lie..It took me abit to get it all and to really understand it without question. Ahaha..
WOW...took me a minute, but I FINALLY get it...this is probably my fave shot of all time, Motts, and I've been visiting Opaciy for quite some time.....amazing!!!!!!
this is a really good shot, it is a little difficult to "see" though..
Geez - 58.
36 nope. it's a "staircase"? where do i step? help.
18... i think i get it :)
It's fairly simple. Picture yourself eye-level with the lower left corner of the photograph. You would be staring at the handrail. From there, you could walk forwards until you reached the wall. To your right would be six or so steps. If you were to go up those steps and turn right, it would leave you facing a bunch more of steps (twenty or more). Basically, what your looking straight at is a wall, not down or up the center of a staircase.
