It might have been an old arms safe...the newer ones are much more substantial though but back in the 40s...i guess it worked
The reflection gives this picture such delicancy. Beautiful!
I love the irony of the fully intact window leaning against the wall, on the ground... yet thanks to the reflection, you can still see the outside "through" it.
