I tried to light this passage quickly... behind me are very thick bars that run from floor to ceiling, and seem to be bolstered by the two heavy braces I'm standing on.

Maybe it's just my being half asleep at the moment, but your head/face looks kind of creepy with the lighting and the movement.
And I also think this could be a great wallpaper.

Did you slow the shutter speed? I like the effect if you did. Gives it an 'otherworldly' feel.

OK .....(sits down in the chair with mouth hanging open). This one has to be absolutely in the top 3 to 5 for ALL galleries combined!!! Really. I am extremely hard to genuinely spook in "real" life, but whether you intended it or not, this one just might cause me to get up and search the lighted house after I wake up from a nightmare :-0!!! Wow, I like this. I've told so many people about this site, and even a very good professional photographer I know likes it (truly, not a biased opinion; this person is good). This is one of the best galleries so far (along with the other "Thing" :-)). I say, keep on keepin' ON :-).

i have to admit, i had to sit here a few seconds to figure out what was going on in the middle. yeah, if this was a wallpaper and you turn your computer on in the middle of the night, thatll surely wake you up. ^^
