Rack

Rack

We were greeted with this rack upon entry, possibly used for munitions. The main tunnel beyond was being lit by a large kerosene lantern.

Reminds me of the weight stations we use to have in high school
that lantern in the distance is great. it looks like a fire or an explosion roaring in.
This sounds like it was an exhilarating find! I would have LOVED to be there!

Cool! LOVE that steel door!
Great set of photo's Motts.
Next time you come over here to the UK, you should have a look in the Ramsgate air-raid tunnel complex, it goes for miles under Ramsgate and I find it fascinating.
That light in the distance is amazing...if I'd seen that, I definitely would have been drawn to it.
The light's very creepy...perhaps a nazi zombie coming to check on things? 0.o
I love the tones in this .
omfg its buttifal "sry i suk at spelling "
probably a rifle rack for the mauser 98k, standard issue german rifle in WWII.
Very cool that so much is left intact. With the traversing crane in this room, I would suspect that large heavy replacement gun barrels were on the rack. And yes, Nazi zombies patrol the area on a regular basis.
Why is the lamp still on? exactly?
Its amazing how something used so much once, turns out like this.
I really want your camera. :(
Lovely picture.
thats interesting, man! good foto!
