These hallway shots in many of these creepy old places remind me of that scene in The Shining where the little boy saw those two ghost girls, scary stuff.
Come play with us Danny, forever and ever and ever. (ha ha)
another true historical tidbit kids- stephen king based the hotel in the
shining [the overlook] on the mohonk
house in newpaltz, sister resort to halcyon hall. the one in the movie is
i believe in colorado, didn't they recently remake the shinig for tv? what would be the point, man! all yr hallway shots are kool, it's like the most out of the least, i could see a grouping of just hallways together as a show or book or whatever

Mr. Historian, thank you, i stand
corrected! i will inform my source that
they have made my attempts at
presenting history seem feeble and
amatuerish! by the way, where is the stanley hotel you refer to?
the stanley hotel is in colorado
thank you anna, i'd love to see a photo
of the stanley hotel, i wonder if it at all
resembles halcyon or mohonk.
Stephen King was actually staying in the Stanley Hotel when he got the idea for the Shining. The Stanley is in Estes Park, CO. I'm actually going there in a couple months for a retreat with TAPS from Ghosthunters.
