Over and Under

This wall was interesting in that it had multiple layers of writing etched into the brick and the whitewash forming an R and D. Most of it was in German; the penmanship of the topmost writing was remarkable. It reads,

"3 tage hab ich verbracht ist so schön gewesen
AS.h
Nur die Ruhe 1941"

3 days I've spent have been so beautiful

Actually, "Ruhe" doesn't mean "restless", but rather something like "calm" or "quiet". So "Nur die Ruhe" could be translated as "Keep calm" or "Take it easy".

Yes, I do see an umlaut carved there now that you've mentioned it, so it was most likely schön. And thank you for the correct farewell as well, I've updated the description.

Kind of random in this gallery, but how many places have you tried to go into and got caught???

I'm not sure, there are gray areas of "getting caught", and a few too many to count. I've had guards watch me from inside the building while I was outside taking photos, so I left. I've had them approach and told me to leave, or they made their presence known in an obvious manner until I left. I've been chased off grounds a number of times, but never apprehended after those. I've had a cop yelling into his megaphone at a building I had exited just two minutes before he arrived; didn't stick around for that one. I've been ticked for being on grounds, but I haven't been physically apprehended inside a building.

These are just the things that happen quite commonly when scouting new places, or in an unlucky timing of events.
