This photo reminds me of another gallery of photos you have ....its a larger rotonde. I think its a French building. For the moment the name escapes me right now. Nice photo Motts....
Thanks, yes the rounded rooms at the Joseph Lemaire sanitarium were similar, and located in Belgium as well

I believe these rotondes are also known as solariums, a place where patients would be brought to relax, read, while the nurses cleaned their room, changed the bed etc
What's with the hole in the floor? this was the second picture I noticed it in.
