And yet, *still* cleaner than a public phone...
Wow. That's some pretty hard core decay, when plastic begins to disintegrate. I can imagine the insurance loss on this property was staggering.
oh yuck
hello? operator? lmfao
Ew...
I'll just send smoke signals.
one hard party ended up all over the phone
Phones of today stink, I hate it when you think you've anwsered it when it rings and here you've hit the wrong button and sent it to your message center instead, I'd be able to operate this old phone no problem. Like the old antique pay phone I had as a teen.
oooh ~Me- quest collects and uses old phones: wall ones, candlestick, railroad, desk.-earliest one is 1898 (tho not all are usable yet). Their rings are musical!- you my friend :-)
p.s. this is a 1950-70s Western :-)
yuck, it looks like a spine of some dead animal. yeah, i have an active imagination =D
Wait....how do I dial the nite club????
Now thats is pretty nasty. It looks like old puke.
Hotel Janitor-Who put the phone in the toilet and forgot to flush
What the heck, I'd take that phone too.
So, I guess they can't come to the phone right no... they're a little tied up?
LMAO Andy & Jeff! It does look like somone/something took a crap on the phone.
Crusty!
hello 911 we have a dead cat in the office drawer
Reminds me of this lady my dad works with. One time, she was eating lunch in her office, and she spilled chili all over her typewriter and paper work!
looks like someone threw up on the phone then let it in the hot sun for a week.
And to think there was a time when there was only one phone co., Bell, and it was illegal to own a phone.
If you moved and wanted to take the phone with you(try that w/o a phone!)one had to call the phone co. and wait (take a day off from work?) for the man to come out and unplug it from the wall.
just remember dial 5 for the nite club
looks like someone took a weird looking duece on the phone.
Dial "M" for Mush
Ewww, I think I'll need more than one phone wipe for that one.
Clearly, ceiling tile from above that could no longer handle the water. nice close up, though, as, like everyone else, I agree that this looks like someone dialed a #2...

So as of 2011, is this place still standing?
As much as possible. I've got to make a trip back soon, it's been way too long.
