I like the hint of purple / hot pink on there, too.
I wonder what that was??
Maybe its one of those spinning platforms, i dont remember the right name. Ya know in old playgrounds, there were bars in the center. Kids would hang on to the outside and spin it really fast and then jump on...then get sick and then try to walk, sideways.
It's probably the base to something that just isn't there anymore.
Looks to me like some type of observation deck, as the land beyond looks lower, although it could be none of the sort. The middle pipe throws it off. Very nice colors in this shot, Motts.
i would assume it was a 'roundabout' i think they're called, like Kristiara suggested, altho it could also be a observation deck like Spydertap said and the middle pole might have once had like a plate on top to show what you can see if you look in that direction, but the fact that the trees look thick trunked and would obviously grow pretty big, i doubt if it were to be an observation deck they'd put trees like that below it
but all in all, nice pic =)
u most def stood in there cause u can see the railing around it
Very industrial, almost looks like part of some kind of machinery
When someone tells you to "sit and spin" this is where you would go. Painful, no?
anyone notice the can on the ground? looks like someone beat you there, motts!
It looks like something you would stand on and it would go up and down.
It looks like it might have fallen over or its a round-a-bout
Merry-go-round?
