Yellow and Black

Yellow and Black

There were a few locomotives and cars left inside the shop, and more were waiting outside. Deep trenches underneath each set of tracks allowed people to work on the undercarriage with relative ease.

Wow, that is just left there uncared for? What an amazing find!
I bet this place was so fascinating to explore! Great photos Motts!
Is this like.. the first ever SUV ?
its so weird. Its like people were working on it and they would go and fix it the next day, but they were told not to come back and it just stayed there frozen in time
It looks like everyone lost their jobs and the place closed probably never to reopen.
this would have been a great van halen album cover.
This looks like a cool place to wander around in. I wonder if this engine will ever be restored.
Amazing to find these basically left behind. I don't know what else you would do with them, but still amazing.
Saturday I took my car to a jiffy
place to have my oil changed.
I saw the attendant do things under
the hood, then he came out to show
me the dipstick and the job was done.
But how?
How did he drain it and change the
filter?
When I picked the car up I saw a pit
room under the bay floor.
Interesting.
