I am amazed at the utter lack of vandalism or graffiti in here. Was the entire place like that, or is this just a matter of which spots you opted to photograph?
I can't remember any graffiti in this place, it was pretty untouched in that respect.

Caro- They are simply buttresses, flying buttresses are never used internaly for they pull the weight away from the building and into the ground... a great example is notre dame!
