Too bad the fire place is gone. Its interesting to see the original wall back there
It's like the chair is waiting for it to come back LOL!
Somebody got a nice mantle out of it -
how do you do it motts?! you always get the chair in the one beam of light...does anybody else notice it too?
Is that the outline of a trap door in the floor or just the way the old inlaid cracked?
This was the interogation room where the nuns would find out if any of the students commited any of the seven deadly sins.
I love the flooring in this shot!
I can't believe the floors throughout this whole building. They're amazing.
I totaly agree with JackieB. You Rock JackieB.
You made me laugh AJ! I agree with you there!
Poor chair lose his friend.
Beautiful parquet!! Again, a shame that this kind of workmanship is left to rot.
...lol...just read the comment about the chair facing the fireplace waiting for it's "friend" to come back......he he....anthropomorphism at it's finest......;-)
..I will be embarassed if that's lino....
It looks like that old linoleum...you know, the stiff stuff that had a black back on it...the old timers called it inlaid...
makes you wonder if they brought the chair in for firewood, but the fireplace was already gone
Yes I think its linoleum too the way its cracked. Thet lighting fixture doesnt belong there. You rock Deb!
Dang! I was hoping it was wood....>:-(
It looks like the yellow was painted over the original marble on the walls.
I think the whole place had those marble like walls and some were painted over later on.
Little fake chair by a little fake hearth by a fake window under a fake lighting fixture.
That's three lonely chairs this set. And yes, Cera, I have noticed. He probably carries a spotlight with him for the occasion.
Whats with the tanning lamp from the ceiling????
wow it seems like some mother should be sitting there waiting for a lost child,
The fireplace mantel was probably fantastic. I'm sure someone stole it. That really does look like a trap door in the foreground.
