wow.. ive never seen tiles like that on the ceiling . is that a stove hood . I LOVE IT THOUGH ....
very institutional looking compared to the rest of the place.
why is there tiles on the roof
wow....old kitchens like this are sorta scary looking
Speechless...who installed all the tiles on the ceiling????
REAL "ceiling tiles"...... That is a little odd. Maybe it was easier to clean the grease-smoke off of tile instead of plaster.....Must have been interesting to install. Cool that even the kitchen door is arched. Nice lighting.
Oy...those gotta be 15' ceilings. Who measured, cut, spaced, placed, and grouted all those tiles? Is there anybody that exists anymore that has that kind of work ethic and skill?
wow I give credit to the guy who had to put the tiles on the ceiling. But I would give even more credit to the person who would have to clean those ceiling tiles
The arched doorway doesn't fit in with those tiles. I wonder if they were added later. It would have been bad if the tiles started falling off
While it would have been a lot of work to put those tiles up there the difference between this place and most of the open buildings on this site is the ceiling is still intact here. It looks perfect instead of being a layer of mush on the floor. Nobody builds to last anymore...
Whoa. Tiled ceiling. Now that's certainly something you don't see everyday.
I am amazed at how clean and upkept this place looks in the pictures. I wish buildings and houses were built today, as they once were then, instead of plywood and sheetrock.
must have been a trip when that place was in operation
This big stove hood kind of looks like a giant sneeze guard...
I thought the stove hood looked like a giant sneezer too lol
The tiles on the ceiling make it surreal. I'll bet the accoustics were awesome, tho.
