It was a rocking chair. Someone cut the rockers off and bolted the wheels on. It sure didn't come that way.

I agree with you Pobo! I want to ride down the hallway on it too! Could you imagine how much the squeaky wheels would echo in that place?

I guess I am...Maybe an older nun or ranking clergy didn't want to be seen not walking so they just put 'em in the chair...kinda like a dignity issue?

I think someone added the wheels onto that chair. It looks really weird with the wheels and not that comfortable
