Nice key!
strange how they leave things behind
like this
Very, very cool pic!
Beutiful! I wish my house key was like that!
i like old keys like that....wonder why it was just left there
I believe that a good urban explorer never takes things...other than pictures...home with them.
That key is a great find. So very old.
Love this picture and I love keys, too!
This is awesome, right across the street from Utica State Hosp.... my grandma worked her entire life, and grew up in a house almost 300 years old... I got about 15 ward lock/skeleton keys from her house. ..very neat find
wow.
i put a key just like that on a chain.
i wear it every day.
haha:}
"A key to open ones heart...."

A very cool find indeed.
Reminds me of one of those colorized pictures with that little spot of rust-red in what appears mostly black and white. I have to admit I would have been quite a bit more than "tempted" to take this.... Wouldn't, but would be VERY tempted......
maybe this is the key that belongs to the door in the "outside" pic
cool rusted key......nice pic Motts....
did you took the key???? lol
Again, the simplicity of this just speaks to me!
now keys are a funny thing...
Miss the days of old looking keys, personally. Great find.
I also wear an old key around my neck taken from my first Urban Exploration in an abandoned children's hospital. . . i justify taking it as the place was about to be demolished. It's a lovely souvenir, i always get alot of people asking about it. :)
i love this shot will you please make this shot a wall paper!
The key has an upsidedown cross on it. Thats like anti-god shit.... freaky stuff!!!!
there is a cross in the key...
I don't think that was intentional. Just part of the key design.
i would have taken this and made it into a necklace or something. (:
This is not a door key. It is a furniture or cabinet key. I can tell by the shape of the top. The handle is very thin and there are two ridges just below it. Door keys have a thicker and more durable handle and no ridges.
If the key was not taken by the photographer, was it at least tested on anything?
