Attic Seat

Attic Seat

I climbed up to the attic; it was empty save for this one chair in the light of the window. The amount of spider webs attached to it attested to how long it might have remained in that spot.

Bravo.
Sort of creepy/beautiful!
That lone chair sure gets around. I keep coming back to this site, it's the best! Today I'm glad I did, two new galleries!! There are others out there that have pictures like this but none that go into the history of the location or have such interesting comments! LOVE IT!!
The Motts trademark !
yay! the lone chair! its odd how you always seem to find that one chair in the tiniest bit of light...
not quite the conventional 'one step closer to heaven'
Wow, what a ceiling!
And of course you gotta have that proper lonesome chair... ^_^
One of your finest lone chair shots, Motts!
Amazing shot Motts. Really really fantastic.
Love it! Really gives of a sense of loneliness.
ahhhhh the lone chair shot. The true sign of a Motts gallery
punishment?
The dark scary attic photo with the lone chair shot....great photo.....but it is kinda dark other than the small amount of light coming through.....
this is probably the best lonely chair shot ive seen so far, great job

i absolutely love the architecture as well
A chair for Mr Motts.
It looks like there are holes in the roof.
Oh yeah - texture, lighting, color, everything!

The lonely chair strikes again!
One is the lonliest number that you'll ever do./' ./'./'
how and or why would there be only one chair? gotta love the solitude
one of the best chair shots i've seen. awesome.
That wood work is incredible! From years past when such was crafted using all hand tools. mortise and tennon joinery. It kinda looks like the framing of an old wooden ship. Let us hope that stays with the renovation.
!!! motts this is my favorite lonely chair pic!
The lonesome chair!!!
Mother Superior gave both palms of my hands a solid smack with her 18 inch oak ruler.

And I cried as I sat alone in the attic to ponder the error of my ways as the Catholic Guilt weighed down heavy upon my soul in the tenth year of my life.
Another lonely chair
:D
Love the lonely chair, and the beams and roof are so cool. Great shot!
LONE CHAIRS AND SOAPDESPENCE R HIS TRADMARK RIGHT MOTTS ?
very beautifull and dynamic!
Just to the left of the chair is what looks like a blue enamel-ware bowl turned upside down.
Yes, the lonely chair. Again. We human beings leave a chair around everywhere. All over the world. "Come, have a seat! Rest here for a while." Strange it is. 1 picture = 1000 words. As usual. May you always be well.
