(....hands LilMiss an Oreo....:-)). I really like that an effort was made to make this building a little more aesthetic. Great little detail, in ADDITION to the arch itself. Nice to see some curved, organic lines in what are usuually square, horizontal/vertical spaces (patient-area interiors, anyway). Nice.
must have built during the aesthetic movement....

my great grandmother died in the manteno epidemic of 1939.
The brick work is magnificent. People worked long & hard to build this. Now look at it. Very bittersweet. Motts, I am so hooked on this site.
