Wow! Just beautiful, Mr. Motts! What an eye you have!
Beautiful. I love the intersecting light patterns. Hey Motts, just curious, how come there were no external shots? Ive looked the place up a few times and i don't think i've ever seen it from the outside.
Thanks. Motts, for shooting & sharing these places with us.
Thanks, unfortunately I don't have exterior shots of a good number of places for various reasons. Many stunning exteriors, such as those of Danvers State Hospital for example, had to be passed up for the chance to get in and out without being caught by security.
Another beautiful series, thank you Motts!
Fabulous! Lovin' the criss-crossed shafts of light.
Thank you!
As always the shots are magnificent!!
Motts thanks again for another wonderful Gallery. Thanks Motts.
Very nice shot.
That is one fabulous shot! Love the way the wall on the left seems tilted! More wallpaper here!!!
Wow, I echo Mr50s, excellent eye here.

Awesome Motts! They just keep getting better and better. Thanks!
the floor is so clean...
The crisscrossing light is perfection, good eye Motts! Thank you for yet another perfect set. Please stay safe!
THAT'S nice! Reminds me of that "infinite mirror" effect you get when two bathroom mirrors face each other. Great depth. :-) Also looks like "the light at the end of the tunnel".
Motts,

Have you ever considered making a book of some of these photographs? I've never seen anything like these....
I love the lighting in this photo.
can't thank you enough Motts =)
Hey, look, it's a saltire on the floor.
and there's an X on the floor like hospital X
That.is.magic. Such a beautiful blue.

Fantastic gallery babe.
Breakfast!
fantastic series yet again. Thank you so much Mr. Motts
wall paper!
I just love how the light from the rooms criss-crosses on the floor. Very interesting patterns. Great work. =)
It's over :( Thanks for sharing your fabulous photography with us. Always a treat!
Many, many thanks, Motts!!!
OHHH,!! This work creates such an emotion. I can smell the muskiness of its dank corners. This place still contains all of the emotion it was put in service to contain. So creepy ,beyond words, forboding, beckening, sick
..off in the distance..........
Thanx again Motts. nuff said
amazing, motts. Bravo!
The criss-crossed shafts of light kinda look like the infinity symbol. Is that where you got the name?
What a lucky find this location is! The criss-crossed light beams on the floor are fantastic
very, very nice shot. it does look like it goes on forever.
Awesome shots Motts! Thank you very much for sharing! You are number -1-
Motts,

I was wondering if u know the history of the places u have here....im 14 and very interested in old hospitals and such things as this. could u tell me off some around the new york area? Thank u.
this is old, and you may not see this post motts, but as far as the outside shots, you should come back in a few days after your exploration and approach security and tell them ur a photographer and want to take a picture of the outside (its not like your gonna go inside or anything...*ahem*)
I went to Verden OK and spoke with SEVERAL people about this place and a couple of them were elders that has lived in Verden their WHOLE lives and NO ONE knew anything about this place.........

The name "Verden" is a pseudonym.
The golden yellow + the blue, such pleasing hues, shades and tints and all the light + shadows x-marking on the floor; it is so good.
The patients saw this, too....
