what is that area down on the floor because i know the spot yur on is where the gaurds stood
It always amazes me seeing abandonded prisons, It is pretty strange looking at these places all rotted and decayed when once it was filled with inmates and guards. Motts don't you ever get the chills from all the 'bad memories' that a jail may hide? It's almost metaphorical the way abandonded jails always have a dark aura to them, once filled with so many criminals and now reduced to a rusted and decaying warehouse of all the bad things that happened there and beforehand.
Even when abandoned, they remain dark. This one seems to go on to infinity, the never ending tier. Excellent gallery Motts! Thanks!
Thanks for the new gallery Motts! I've been hooked on this site for weeks now and feel priveliged to be one of the first to see this new collection. Keep up the good work!

confess - The tiled area on the first floor might have been showers.

psycho - Thanks, there's definitely a draw to these kinds of places with their histories, and some can really send off a creepy vibe.

Motts wonderful Gallery to see. Thanks Motts once for an Wonderful Gallery to see. JackieB Where are you????????
Most excellent photoset - this jail looks 100 times more sinister then Eastern State Penn.
Beautiful Gallery. So different from a hospital. But it is another way of keeping people under control.
Just think of how many men moved through this prison since the 1830s.

The concentrated aura of despair and hopelessness is sure to project paranormal activity.

I saw the TAPS show that investigated this place and they recorded some freaky S$#@
What a fantastic place, I would have LOVED to explore this... keep them coming!!!
WOW! crazy place! great shots motts
i really think you saved the very best for last
