Controls

A really nicely styled control panel sat in a small room, which was most likely lined with lead.

sooo decrepit and eerie!
That looks ancient, very Steam Punk.

Amazing adventure so far!
Way cool, I would want to take it home and clean it up!
looks like the controls for a ride at an amusment park
Just think, at one time this was state-of-the-art.
Whoa. The evil yellow tiles look like old, cracked skin...:-0. That thing does look like and old 80's arcade game.
Controls for what??
Lead? hope you wore a mask!
Please don't breathe in....thank you!!!
what do you think it was used for?
These things are all torture devices. Commonly disguised as the "X-Ray" department.
The wires spilling out the back are so intimidating.
Great shot!
Your worried about lead? Think of the asbestos! That was the common insulator at the time these hospitals were run and one of the defining reasons few if any are restored or put to better use.
Funny thing is, this control panel is probably NOT beyond repair!
@FDNYMedic, lead doesn't float around in the air in it's solid form. It would have to be eaten like the flakes in lead paing
