WOW !! first post. Still a beautifal facade. Art Deco ?
Absolutely spectacular!
That door....It is so BLACK inside....looks like hell, beckoning you to enter......
Man! Even when this place was open, that entrance must have brought to mind quite the ominous impression of a huge gaping maw about to swallow people whole.... :-0. Strange how "industrial" and plain the surrounding gray stone is compared to the bricks. Odd.
I'm LOVING the architecture of this place!
Very nice!
Ahhh I loves me some Art Deco!
Like the design of this side of the building
It almost has a native american nuance.
It is very ominous I agree....scary to in some ways. It is very art deco thats for sure....its always interesting to see how nature takes back its on isn't it......Nice pic Motts!!
New Pictures, yea! Lovely how nature reclaims everything for its own.
Wonderful Gallery Motts. This Gallery has just made my whole day.
wow it does almost look like a hell mouth
it looks like a long dead monster, looking for pehaps one last meal.....
Breathtaking :)
absolutely stunning
LOVE IT!
I love how the nature has taken over the manmade building, greenery pouring out of every nook and cranny. Great photo!
I am Amazed this building was so beauitiful before and it is still standing up. Motts You Rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That vegetation has really grown over.

I never cease to marvel at skilled brick
laying,which seemed to be popular
in late 19th century/early 20th.

I remember as a child reading one of our
presidents had a hobby of bricklaying, and
I said to my brothers "What!!!!?"
One brother(hey!,Brother Island!)explained
to me it wasn't easy.
I have since come to appreciate it.

The Frankford Arsenal in Phila.is a site
partially in disrepair, partially in use,and
loaded with tones of skilled brickwork.
Man you have some awesome talent! You capture the beauty of the place so wonderfully! I just love the design. It would be so nice if they would still build buildings like this these days.
LOOK AT THOSE WALLS, TOTALLY AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, GREAT SHOT!!!!
The building looks almost alive the with the sound of rustling foilage. Another really good shot Motts.
Interesting Archetectural detail, to bad it isn't being restored.
Remember the movie "The timemachine" ??? The older one ??? Welcome back !
Why do people feel the need to break the windows?
Just came across this site. It is my new favorite! I could spend endless hours looking at the astonishing pictures. This is one of my favorite buildings so far. Just beautiful.
