I never cease to marvel at skilled brick
laying,which seemed to be popular
in late 19th century/early 20th.
I remember as a child reading one of our
presidents had a hobby of bricklaying, and
I said to my brothers "What!!!!?"
One brother(hey!,Brother Island!)explained
to me it wasn't easy.
I have since come to appreciate it.
The Frankford Arsenal in Phila.is a site
partially in disrepair, partially in use,and
loaded with tones of skilled brickwork.
