It's the granite blocks, it just gives it a aura of strengh and industructability. It's there and can never be taken down. Although if it is. and it probably will be, those blocks will be sold to the highest bidder as it is in this here nunnited states and made into something that can make money. Sadly, even granite goes down.
Since moving just a couple blocks away from this site, Ive been enthralled w/the history. Its sad the city cant do something to save the hospital.

Is there a Rutland, Mass or a VA. Hospital, My grandfather died in one of TB
in the in 1940 to 1944
I live near The Norwich State Hospital, my aunt retired from that in the 80's and I did a class paper in the 70's on The Mansfield State training school. All In CT.
