Man now THAT is serious peelage.
amazing colors, always great pictures motts
Wow, how many rooms are in this place? The doors seem to stretch to 'infinity'.
Oh yeah!
Peely-ness in top form!
Form the map, I'd say about twenty single patient rooms in a wing x 4 wings x 3 floors = 240 solitary rooms (not counting day rooms, closets, bathrooms etc).
im not repainting this
Love Color & Texture Motts.
Mercury bulb about to fall down? Yummm.... not.
wallpaper!!!!!!!!
What's with the hoses?
i was first attracted by your colors...
Ah! , the firemen leave those hoses out.
Makes them look important and makes people wonder.
chip chip chip
The color choices of the time all seem to be the same no matter the story. That green, that pink, and that blue.
I wish my dad could see these pics!
I am looking into my family history and at present I am reading and trying to decipher a muddled letter TO my grandfather from my Great Uncle Martin Marshall who was living here in Feb 1953. It has taken me a while to decipher the address at the top of the letter, but Im glad I have at last found out where he was. I should like to find out more about him, but these pictures sadly tell their own story. If anyone knows where I can obtain details of records of the patients here can they e mail me on chezmarsden@dsl.pipex.com. Thanks
hmm. You might try records dept for Islip town...although any research into this is technically looking for medical records and i'm not sure if those are sealed.
