Storage

Mattresses and what looked like car seats were stacked up high in this room. The first floor of the building held a good amount of furniture and supplies.

Hah, I wanna jump on those mattresses so bad, (assuming they weren;t full of creatures and insects)
That's almost as interesting as the room full of paper - though, in some way, it makes more sense to stuff spare mattresses and car seats in an empty room than thousands of papers.
this room was to test for princesses.... theres actually a pea (not pee) underneither the last mattress.
very intersting shot by the way ! great work as usual Motts
anyone tired and wanna take a nap? lol jk
Useless mattresses stacked and forgotten just like the humans that slept on them.
There's likely a few PTs mixed in with those. Hard to keep track of all of them.
Wonderful Gallery Motts. Keep it up.
Those look like bench seats out of a full size van.
This is the perfect breeding ground for rats and mice! Lovely
Filthy! (Looks possible (PROBable?) that the stains could have happened BEFORE the building was abandoned..not a pretty thought). If that was the case, I hope these were just being stored in here waiting to be hauled to the dump.....wouldn't want to think of anyone actually sleeping on that ;-0!
those do look like seats from a van... maybe hospital transportation? that might explain why there are so many of them...
and that is a lot of nasty mattresses
Those are wide van seats. Someone may be able to use them
Ah!! Bonanza!!
For all those creepy
devious merchants
who pick them up
off the streets and
vacant lots and re-sell
them to unsuspecting
parents with children.
I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT TO MANY PEOPLE WHO LIVED AND OR WORKED HERE DID NOT HATE IT HERE FOR SOME WHO LIVED HERE IT WAS HOME THEY MAY HAVE NEVER HAD ANY MISS TREATMENT SOME WHERE BETER THERE FAMILY . THE WORKERS DID THE BEST THEY COULD YES THERE ARE STAFF SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE ARE STAFF THAT ARE THE BEST. ALL THESSE PLACE STACKED TOGETHER IS A NOTHER PILE TO SHAK OUR HEADS AT.
mattress graveyard
Mattress surfing anyone? :p
i'd love to bounce around in there lol
What's with the car seats? Were they used for extra beds?
We should sent this to Serta, the sheep would love this.
wow! a GAZZILION yah there you go. when ever you get tired just sleep on one of those. gross
Those seats look just like the front bench seat from a 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 XL convertible I had -
I wanna jump on thoese mattresses! I'm gonna take them, put them in my living room, and TA-DA! Instant bounce house!!!
bouncing in the crazy room...
Slumber party...of the damned!
Yes those seats are most definitely seats from an American full size van, like a Chevy, Dodge, or Ford, and most likely for transportation of patients either around the grounds or like on field/activity trips.
this room must be gross
