ive never seen the gym in byberry, wheres it at????
I'm not sure, the place is so big, I kinda lost track of where I was.
It's located on the second (ground) floor of the maintenance building in the center of the mansions. See Goddog's excellent maps on his site at - http://theduke81.tripod.com/
Building "N" on the second map.
This is actually not a gymnasium at all. It was originally built as a kitchen/cafeteria building. This was the women's cafeteria. There's an old shot of it from the 30's on the jeffline archives. It was later used as an occupational therapy suite.
theres a person at the top of this picture right by the light!!!
Unfortuntely Jill, I don't think so...
I was there when this pic was taken and climbing on the roof here is an excercise in silliness, especially on a 94 degree day.
Well, *I* see a severed forearm next to a can of natural light on the right-hand side of the page. Are you going to tell me that I am mistaken?!

Seriously, I don't ever see anything in these pictures (except for cool buildings), but then again, I'm not a ghost hunter.
I'VE NEVER BEEN IN HERE BUT IT LOOKS SOOOOOOO SCARY I PROBLEY WIL;L NEVER GO IN !!!!!!!!
Any one want to play me in a game of some thing?
I am always game for something
there was no gym
If you read the posts above yours, you'd notice this was already stated by Goddog.
The gym did exist however, but was located in the building next to Self Help on Southampton Road.
The building still has the gym equipment stored there.
wow i would of never guessed they had one
Dark and lonely place.

There was a gym on the East side of facility. It was a one story building with glass on both long sides and a small office at one end. I worked at Byberry from 11-71 to 2-89.
its a convertable! lol
There was also a large recreation building south of the campus, but it was torn down back in the 70s. There was also a building for working patients, as well as a group of cottages for children. It's almost impossible to find pictures of these buildings, but Goddog has some great ones on his site: The Story of Byberry.

Question: What color is a white page?
