Window to the World

Here is an example of a newer cell, which does not have a skylight or vaulted ceiling found in the older ones.

To be trapped inside there everyday looking out that window and watching the wold go by,,,,, And you are trapped in a lonely forgotten existence. Now that is what Hell must be like.

This is a truly sobering shot Motts.
Or you could pass the time with thoughts of being the acrher in a midevil castle on 24 hour watch....if you were bored and lock away for a few years that is
A very interesting contrast of imaginations. don't think that thoughts like that didn't run through the inmates' heads. also, remember that some prisons these days with cells that small don't even have windows. now THAT's hell
You must see Terror Behind The Walls.. This cell reminds me of a setup they did with a very freaky actor who hid in the back of a pitch dark cell and jumped up to the gate as you passed by.. I almost started crying!!
How would you like to turn a crank that didn't do anything all day, as some prisoners did.
The outside world...no use to see what they were no longer a part of?
Wow...
No comment, just a big woppin' "WOW"
do you know that origanlly the penetentary originally was used for solitary confinement? and prisoners were not allowed outside without hoods on....every one of them had to put a hood on before they left there cells so that they couldnt never see another face or see the sky and trees....they even had there own little excercies pens which were like 10ft by 8 ft ......they couldnt talk to anyone or they were beaten they resorted to banging on the walls and moaning to eah other.....most went mad from the isolation....I was so sad when i went there......I felt like i could feel their presence.....imagine nvr seeing the daylight ....anway youre photos are AMAZING im so inspired great job and keep up ur God given talent
AND A PERCENTAGE OF THEM WERE INNOCENT, NOW THATS SAD.
hate to be in that room even for a day
I wasn't in that room during my visit
