Hey, Hey. First comment! :-). Fresco!! (I think)....or wait, maybe not.....
I'm surprized (sp?) that a state prison would have a religious symbol in it, unless this was in the chapel.

It looks like a scene from The Adoration of the Magi. Regardless, it is far too beautiful to be left to rot in an old prison.
Still a fundamental prison right : The right to access Religeon.
well, maybe it doesn't preserve so well
I hope that if they do not restore this beautiful museum that they will transfer the paintings.
Dont be surprised about religion in a Penitentury. Its whole meaning was penance by bible verses, hard manual labor and time alone....
wow very detailed did prisoners do that or it was already there when made?
