Therapy

Therapy

I believe this room was in the Hydrotherapy / Physical Rehabilitation area... the bars are most likely to assist people in walking.

looks awesome in black and white
I love the decayed look in this one
Another very creepy room. Great!
Is this where the inmates could take ballet lessons?
I often wonder what it would have been like.
You know, to serve a sentence there.
A long one?
A life-long one?
A sentence at a time when lives were shorter??
I could just see the Physical Rehab Assistant talking to the inmate....

"Okay, Bubba. The doctor says you need to rehab your legs, so hop to it and start walking....NO! I DON'T CARE if the guards broke your legs yesterday, okay? Do as you're told!....Stop being such a sissy. It can't hurt THAT bad...ALRIGHT! I've had enough of your whining. I'm getting the Iron Gag...".
Excellent composition. I love all the lines pointing to the door.
The parallel bars are used to assist with walking patients.....we still use them today! PS....I looove your site, Motts.
I will try to walk on the bars
I didn't walk on the bars :(
