Did they lock the door with a little shepherds cane ala twilight zone?
the door systems they used are very unique... and strange. cool photo motts

Ummmm....does that door number say "666"?
Makes me glad that I wear a cross everyday!
Motts, you rock!!!!
That would be the door to take home and put in as your front door! no more unwanted sales people or flyer woudl left hangin on that door!
lmao GREAT SHOT thats so wierd imagine staying in that room
WHOA TO YOU OH EARTH AND SEA ......FOR IT IS A HUMAN NUMBER AND THAT NUMBER IS SIX HUNDRED AND SIXTY SIX!!!!
cool
That door looks in good condition - is it the only good looking door than the rest?
the number looks perfect on that style/color door, lol
All along I thought that this place was hell. That 666 door confirms it!
yes laura that is 666
you could make a great table out of that door!
great pic .. seems like back then you could just kick that door and your free, lol
Looks Medieval In Nature
"Paging Dr. Howard, Dr. Lucifer, Dr. Howard."
Makes you wonder...
Keep in mind that no matter how harsh this looks, it was an improvement over what had been before.
The Quakers believe there is a little bit of GOD in everyone, and so,this is the house of the LORD.
Why is that door so clean and in in such good shape compared to all the others?
Freaky........
wicked
These doors are interesting. They almost look like they have wheels on tracks. Could any of them move?
Lauren, I am sure they would move with some effort. Funny how the simplest designs last the longest.
wasn't the other doors painted white? why was this one not painted?? freaky
Did you go in the room?
I wonder how the prisoners must have felt when they were given that cell.

Did they become psychotic? Did they start hallucinating? Call me paranoid, but it may be possible..

As Spickle asked earlier, did you enter the room?
love the picture feel really bad for who ever was in the cell!
Vincent Price laugh anyone? Sends chills down my pigmented albinic spine. Smart idea to take a picture from an angle rather than straight on. This way, the darkness almost calls to you. The door is probably in such good condition because the Devil (AKA my ex-girlfriend) protects her own.
Interesting
It does seem odd that a Quaker institution would have a room #666...
my brother went this past weekend & he said the 666 numbers were missing.. he wanted his pictures taken by it.. who would steal theres? seriously? lame-o
is that number 686? or 666?
That number is 666 the number of the beast.
scary. Did you go in?
Weird...typically most places remove the thirteenth floor (skip from 12 to 14) and skip rooms like 13 and 666 the same way. I'm a little surprised this prison didn't go from cell 665 to 667.
I have also been in here they open it around Halloween and i went there it was 1 am. and so scaryy when i walked through i could feel the presence of others around me....
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

This is one of the things that will happen in the apocalypse/ the tribulation
I took pics too, except I didn't go inside. Most of them were exterior shots.
I think that was put up for the Halloween haunted house they do every year. Part of the route goes through the hospital wing I remember seeing that, and that door and the numbers look fairly new. I'll tell you though I thought this place was much scarier during the day than it was the night before when we did the haunted house.
Lmao...aw Hell yeah
