Mr. Motts I wonder how you get such amazing shots, but not be afraid to fall through the floor
The floor was really solid in the place - made of stone or concrete. I have gone few a few others though ;-)
you know, if you turned this pic upside down it would look like there was a large pudding of blood on the "floor"
very dirty and uninviting for sure.
its a giant ice cube tray, lol
reminds me of an old Ice Cube Tray
Water damage and humidity is killing the building.
They glued ceiling tiles on the arch way??
The floor is solid. In most parts.Except under the Rotunda.I would have loved to have gone under the Rotunda.

They have been working on stabilizing the bldg.for a long time now.(including such things as wrapping the skylights with rags, then plastic tied with rope)
I was watching the Travel Channel and this was on the program so I HAD to check out the website. I LOVE IT! Cool stuff.
who went and dropped the selves though the hole in the roof?
Not me, Merc24! I was at Eastern on Saturday morning around 10 AM, and I wasn't even on the roof!!!
