This is one of the creepist palces yet but I love it, Just dont ask me to go there alone!
whatever it was used for looks cemented down by fungi or mold. YUMMY!
that's so so Creepy to me.
Deb, you are right, that is very creepy but that big room with the beds and heater hanging is even creapier
Repainted a hundred times.
I think the colors used in prisions are the same ones used in old hospitals and NYC public schools.. LOL

I remember the girls bathroom being that color green.. creepy..
People pay a fortune to get that distressed furniture look. Who knew you could find it in a 19th century prison?

Looks like it could be a cart that they took around to pass out medication. "Medication time...it's medication time!"
I would agree that it would be a food cart. They probably didn't even get medication in that place....or maybe.
As I make these comments, I am watching a special on Ghost Hunters about this prison. I wish you all could have seen the progarm, or maybe some of you did. Wasn't is too cool? I keep jumping back to my computer when the commercials come on.
Oh my gosh, I'm writing a book on a prison and this looks just like my thoughts of my book in the prison... stunning and inspiring for me! Thank you so much!
