This must be the platform that raised the caskets up in front of the altar.
Black & white, shadow of the platform.....great shot!
Does the platform rest inside a giant room down there, or are those dark spaces all around it shallow? Makes me think about I Am Legend when he stumbles into a nest of those ghouls...!!
Most of the spaces around the perimeter of room contained racks for storing caskets.
