I just want to start cleaning this place and bring it back to life
i just want to clean this place up and turn it into a club... just kidding, that wouldn't be kind to the families of those who rest there or to those who rest there.
Symmetry and colors are great. This is actually a quite complex shot.
For some reason it reminds me of when I'd look sideways while in procession at the beginning of a service [I'm in a choir], and I'd glance away from my Hymnal and look at the procession. Lay Eucharistic Ministers, the Clergy, passing the Congregation gathered in the pews.

This pic brings me back to this morning, for goodness sake!
I really like this shot! I wonder if those windows once had stained glass in them? Motts I love the light hitting the pews on the left.
Medieval.
What a place for a .....white wedding. I'd want to be married here.....its so, mediaevally gothic.

It looks so much like a movie set that I expect to see the crew in some of these shots.

I wonder if the roof is in good shape.
A perfectly balanced shot in every way....
looks like it just needs to be dusted :)
Jesus, Lynne, I love you. You really are precious.
Most of those who ocupied these pews are probably resting for all eternity in the cemetery that surrounds the Chapel. I like to think that they return on some peaceful, moonlit nights to these pews of yesteryear to pay their respects to each and another.
Amazing! And yet so sad that places like this are just left and neglected.
It reminds me of the (formerly) abandoned chapel on the grounds of my Alma Mater.
Please take your seat the Mass is going to start now!!!!!!!!
Are those boarded windows? Look like 12 Stations of the Cross may have been there.
Same thought here Guitorman, and I'm Quaker.
i love how light and airy it is! great shot :P
wow....thats one beautiful chapel...that'd be an awesome place to get married.
In all my years of going to mass, I have never seen every pew with a cusion. Normaly these seats would be reserved. To see this brings me to believe that this church was well kept.
I can almost hear the hymns echoing off the ceiling - haunting.
I really like this picture, very nice view of the pews.
That's a beautiful angle.
