Reminds me of a story from one of the Scary Story books I read when I was younger... about the old lady that went to church early in the morning only to find that it was a service for the dead and that the person next to her had been dead for months or something like that, hehe

This rem's me of my Grandmother.
The woodwork needs to be protected. The locals should take an interest in such sites and work to preserve them. Looks like thick, heavy Oak.

they really should work on preserving that so generations to come can look back on it and be proud to live in that area.
