Man, where do you FIND these places? This hotel's amazing... I bet that fireplace was magnificent back when it was fairly new. <3 I've remodeled old buildings from the early 1900's and late Victorian and they're always a real treasure, especially if you can find little details still in tact //_^

I some how see Greda Garbo lounging on an art deco chaise lounge smoking a long cigerette next to that fireplace. :)
what a shame these sorts of architectual details are no longer produced, and what is left is in this sort of shape.

this room looks like it was used as a bordello, honestly, the decor is just hideous!! i'm sure it was much nicer when it was first built, but, well, there was a lot of yuck redecorating that went on in the '70's
