I wanna a Mexican woo oooo radio. Wall of Voodoo.....whatever happen to them?
That's so awesome.
I can just picture some crazed Artist holing up here and ranting gibberish for hours at the top of his lungs, pounding out 90 pages a week of genius poetry, and then burning it all and leaving this message as the only proof he existed.
*seconding, thirding and agreeing with what Vastarien said*
It looks as if someone has slept here.
the curtains look like they were cut with scissors straight across and then shredded, weird
yeah Nick i was thinking the same about the curtains
Whats the difference between a mexican radio and any other radio?
Someone taking souvenier curtains?
Oh, that one song from the 80s, wasn't it?
I understand, just a little
No comprende, it's a riddle...
I'm on a Mexican radio
I'm on a Mexican, whoa-oh, radio.
ROTFLOL Seattle_Dave!! I actually remember that song..not sure if i should be proud or ashamed LOL.

I love how it looks "lived" in..though i think it's time for a new rug..
New to this site. Looks like the message on the wall was pointing to a radio that was once there, now pointing above a busted screen. Very lived in appearance. Very cool site. Thank you Motts.
..."cant understand just what does he say!!"....
I'm the artist and this is my room... :)
Odd! Such a magnificent lobby and rather plain rooms.
I need to go get that couch!
I have that song on my iPod. It actually gets annoying after a bit.
the tattered curtains are unsettling
Im Guessing a hobo was here or something?
"....I'm on a wavelink far from home....I understand just a little....no comprende...its a riddle....."

Found that song recently in a box with a bunch of cassette tapes, and a old GE stereo walkman that still turns on! The summer of 1984 will never die.......:)
That's funny I just recently introduced my thirteen year old son to that song. How Ironic were looking on here and there it is.
that room looks so lived in because actually it probably is. hobos go and stay in the Sterling Hotel and during the winter they start little like fire pits in the rooms and sometimes the fires will catch the room on fire. and then the fire department has to come and put it out. and sorry about saying hobos i mean the homeless.. and people dont think i'm going by what i hear on the internet or from people...i know about the Sterling Hotel because i live right by it and the news people talk about the Sterling Hotel like at least a few times a year.
is that carpet on the floor?
That drop ceiling is in better shape than some apartments I've looked at over the years!
I'm digging the couch.
it says "im on a Mexican,RAPIDO" not RADIO rapido means FAST in spanish. shesh guys. does everyone get it now? terrible thing to say actually. couch looks real 70's
my freind jason wrote that years ago
