If you say "Ici repose les corps", then you need to write "Ici reposent les corps", so that the verb agrees with the subject. But if you want it just as it was on the tomb, then take of the "s" on "les".
wait: isn't "ent" for plural(them)? For IT it's just "e", right?
Absolutely Awsome Gallery
Always interesting to see a photo at a grave (whatever tomb, grave, urn, etc..). Puts a face to the name, and makes you even more "aware" of the fact that this was a real person. Sets me wondering what she was like, and what her life was like. So many millions of people born and gone before most of us now were even a twinkle in someone's eye. Great gallery, and nice change of pace. Thanks :-).
"Corps" is singular, so this is correct. It says:

"Here lies the body of Madame Florian Delmarcelle...Antoinette Sanson Lt. (?)
Died in (name of place) 20 November 1911 (?)
At the age of 63 years
Having received all the sacraments
RIP"
...sorry, the words "whether it's a" should be in place of the word "whatever".
There's something very sad about this shot.
I agree Sked. very sad.
So very pretty.....
For one, good catch on that, Rachel.

And two, Motts... wow. [I know, I keep saying it, but I can't really help it. This gallery's been more than captivating.]
@Call Me Rachael

ya
No, it is not correct... it's LES corps, making it plural... I'm a French speaking professionnal editor and translator, I should know, hm?
Mind you, it is correct in the picture, only the title is wrong.
yes, putting a picture on a grave is nothing new.
But the state-of the-art and the quality is so different today, plus it is very trendy today.
But at any rate, it certainly changes your perception.
es genial esta pagina me gusta mucho es excelente!! HOLA FROM MEXICO!! NICE PAGE!!
that plant looks living
It also says "nee Antoinette Sansonet" her maiden name (nee=born) right, Cath?
Makes me think of Van Gogh
The last name given is SANSONET, not SANSON LT.
I THOUGHT IT WAS AGAINST THE LAW DUE TO HIPPA PRIVACY THAT YOU COULD POST A PERSONS LOVED ONE ESPECIALLY THERE PICTURE FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD TO SEE?
She was beautifull
Walking stick, the HIPPA laws refer to disclosing medical records or information. Nothing more.
