In which building was this?
This appears to be a hallway in one of the three "N" buildings, on the ground floor. Possibly N-10 because it's in such good shape. It could be one of the othetr "N"s, but on the far side of the main entrances. The farther you go from the sides closest to Bensalem, the better the buildings appear.
I'd put my money on N-10, I believe it's the only one with the curved hallway crossing the back section. That, and the exit signs that stick out from the wall rather than flush-mounted. Byberry is definately a unique place. I hope it stands for years to come.
so i guess c1 n the old mntnce buildings r in like great shape then huh?
The "C" buildings are in horrible shape and pretty dangerous to boot. The "N"s are half a century newer.
yeah i wish byberry could stay a few years longer... i m pretty sure we will all miss it...
What about the old building that was refurbished I think it was E-2? Any other pics for that side of the blvd?
I don't believe Motts has one, but here's a link to some of my old pics. (You might have to copy/paste). There's a shot of the refurb in there.

hey Radical Ed, i bookmarked your page to view later, thanks so much for sharing, I love looking at other peoples perspectives of abandoned sites.
Nice pics. The other ones I've seen (not in your album or on this site) really suck, and there were a lot of almost completely black pics. Glad SOMEONE knows how to take pics.
If you go to the "FORUM" section of this site, I have a Byberry picture thread in the "PHOTOGRAPHY" part.
thats creepy its so sweet!
I'm having visions of a crazed duck going around this place with a can of spray paint in his beek. :P :)
You know it's funny...........

I have been to the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, the largest American hospital outside of the United States. The Landstuhl Regional Medical Center is located in the Rheinland-Pfalz state of Germany, 11 kilometers west of Kaiserslautern and five kilometers south of Ramstein Air Base.

And they have a curved hallway that just goes on FOREVER and EVER.

Is that normal for hospitals or just a
coincidence ?

Signed: An American Soldier stationed in Germany.
TO SCARY I WAS IN THAT HALL WIT MY FRIENDS
Architects utilize curved hallways to prevent hospital administration from placing beds in the hallways.
Wow, very interesting, the reason behind the curved hallway... I'd of never thought of the curve as a mesure to prevent beds being placed in the hall.
