Folded

Folded

The beds in many cells were able to fold up into the wall like so, giving the inmates a little more room.

Great color, texture, and geometry. Thanks, Motts
good night, sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite.
Well, that's pretty handy!
Love the color of the Cell Motts!!!!
That was nice of them to make beds that fold so that they could have more room
I call dibs on the top bunk!
I call dibs bottom bunk! Joe you can have the top bunk!!!!!
Deb you little minx :)
Joe Thanks!!!!!
The holes in the walls remind me of a pet carrier...
nice shot
Joey has been here 10 years.. lets fold up the beds.. get out the cardboard and bust out a few breakdance moves!!
Did they just sleep on the metal mesh? where would the mattresses go if they folded them up otherwise??
These days they would be welded. to "Prevent Injury"
The bunks were folded up when the cell was not occupied. It would be hard to fold up when your mattress and bedding were in place. Give the inmate more room? Ha!
