I believe when it was being used, it was 'flushed' by pouring a bucket of water down it. I suppose, in that case, a type of punishment would be to not provide a bucket. I imagine, if you were 'caged' with someone else, you would have to deal with them because you could not flush your 'McShits' :-D

Doesn't look like a very comfortable seat to sit upon, especailly if you had those really horrible McShits that resulted in spending large amounts of time on the seat! Can you even imagine the "ring around the ass" that would leave! I'll find a bush to go behind, thank you! And I'd hold whatever I could for as long as I could!

This looks just like the bathrooms in New Orleans in the early during Mardi Gras or New Years Eve after people have been partying! Actually, I believe the prison bathroom shown above is actually much cleaner than the Mardi Gras/New Years Eve New Orleans bathrooms. I love going to New Orleans, but I will never go during Mardi Gras or New Years Eve ever again! This is a great set of pictures of an old prison. I love looking at pictures and hearing stories about old prisons or jails.

i had to shi uhh find a restroom in new orleans the day after mardi gras was over. Finally went into a BK thinking that it would have a relatively clean bathroom..oh HELL NO... I would DEFINITELY choose this one over any of the ones from bourbon st.
