what is it? looks like a mix between a table and a wheelchair (yay, first to post again!!)
Primitive wheelchair i suppose, did the seating break off?

Nice lighting with this picture!
Looks like a nurse's cart... maybe for passing out medications to many rooms at once?
This is kind of dreary
It appears the hand ring is still on the far wheel. My guess is it's wheelchair parts used to make a service cart of some sort. Looks like some kind of contraption I would make. :oD
ohh Lynnn!!! any info? lone service cart?
Thats', er..a , kinda neat(?)
Laundry cart perhaps?
Is that a face or two to the left of the small wheel???? It sure looks like someone was watching you Mr. Motts!!!!!
Bring out the dead !
Or haul trash out..
Absolutely no idea what that could be other than creepy...
A wheel table! Cool shot!
great light, shadows and muted colors! I love it.
This is really neat. The shadows set a great scene. Like you just surprised it or something.
i am almost sure it is a prone gurney. it is a bit short, though. these are used for people who have bed sores on their bottom and whom need to get around while on their stomachs.
Or spooked. It's amazing how it jogs this old man's brain and returns me to times that I didn't exist. So much talent, so much hope for all, and of course Lynne, we never can never forget Lynne, nobody can.
some of these photos look like this would be a great place to film a great horror flick.
Think about the Saw movies ; )
thats a little scaryy =/
c'mon people - it's a strawberry cart !
Possibly a strange device to move medical equipment and scary sryinges around? Mad doctors chase the mad paients down the hall with those things, you know. (jk.)
i think it was used to wheel someone around on their stomach, and a bucket to drool in or worse, sad situation indeed
I think that this was, at one time, a regular wheel-chair that has been modified to serve another purpose. The reason that I think this is because the wheels appear to be those of a standard wheel-chair. The metal pieces that are attached to the sides of the wood structure above the frame are newer and shinier looking than the frame. The vertical sides look to be standard building-grade 2X4s with 1/2" ply attached to the sides (you can see the exposed edge of the ply.) The top is from something else. An old laminate table (?) top that has been cut with rounded corners and you can see the de-lamination happening from years of exposure to moisture. This is a cobbled-together make-shift contraption to serve a specific purpose for this institution.
