Why do hospitals always seem to use that teal color? hehe
Ah, the teal color would probably be used to calm the workers inner senses...Blue and teal in general is calming..
what kind of condition were the microwave and refridgerator in? Is that carpeting on the floor or tile?
-sigh-

I can look at these at my dads house and be fine, look at them at home, and i get freaked out >.<

and that room still had all that stuff in it? Again, someone left and intended to come back?
Despite the paint peeling off the walls, there's something about this room that feels welcoming. Those chairs look as though they are begging to be sat on one last time.
Is it me or does the red chair comforting the green one?
The purple chair looks comfortable. Although I don't think I'd risk it.
Wow those are deep seats! If I sat on that my short legs would stick straight out. LOL
looks like a great place for a lone chair convention!
That arch is just barely hinting at middle eastern.

Looking at this, and to think that somebody once...
Imagine coffee, doughnuts, rustling newspapers.....
i could fall asleep on one of those chairs, cleaned of course.
a very interesting picture....u stole that chair uu w*nker!!
You can't find a room like this out here in the middle of nowhere.
From what I was told, hospital walls and surgical cowns, towels and rags are teal because it kept the spots out of the Drs. and nurses eyes. For example; if they were looking down on a patient, the dark blood and bright lighting caused dark spots in thier vision when they looked up and everything was white. The teal coloring didn't cause spots in thier vision.
I've herd something similar to what Maggy said. One of my cowokers told me that it has to do with the color wheel, and basically the color of blood sits opposite that green/tiel color, and acts subdue the color of blood I guess is the best way to put it.
here comes nurse Ratchet.........
ok motts im seriously pissed, in that other psch hospital with the cribs and stuff why didnt you take that newspaper?! it has martin l king in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ours and Ours chairs. Room for multiple personalities.
Is it just me, or do the chair legs on the geen one look.. strangely skew somehow..
'Hm. Maybe it's just an illusion.. Creeps me out though. Amazing photo, M.
I agree it looks sort of welcoming, glad to feel a living soul for once..
look at the dangling light in the back, and the chairs do look like they are comforting each other, the green one is deflated,i wonder how that happened.lol
yeah it looks like people were just there but time has concealed their fate
that room is almost inviting. If i was the remaining resident, I would hang out there.
