Quarantine

Quarantine

The narrow room where the casket would be displayed; the glass is behind the faux wall on the right. What might have been another glass window in the back of the room has also been boarded up in the same manner. An exhaust fan has been retrofitted to provide ventilation.

wow. again.
That boarded-up area looks kind of like a coffin.
weird that a coffin goes into a room that almost LOOKS like a coffin
That is strange but it serves the purpose
This is an amazing gallery! The Isolation Viewing Room is something I've certainly never heard of before.
Thank you for all the explanations Motts, it really makes a difference seeing these.
Most unusual.
They turned it into a closet...use every bit of space I guess. No wasted space, and yet the whole building is being wasted now.
My goodness... these places used to be way creepier then they are now.
what a strange claustrophobic room. creepy.
If this was an isolation room to prevent the transmission of diseases, who put the casket in here & opened the lid for viewing? Did they don an isolation suit?
