beautiful photo but for some odd reason, those lights dont look right in this room
I agree with Joe. This is a beautiful shot and the woodwork is amazing, but the lights look like something you would find in in a workshop. I would expect to find something a little fancier in here.
Methinks those lights were an afterthought by a few decades.
Such beautiful detail. Those lights were added much later and were used because they were cheap.
churchy
You said it, Guitorman
if this was a room in my house i lose those lights, put a plasma tv in the middle and put shelves up in the right and left coves and make a media /den room.
The lights are a shamefull addition to a beautiful room, I'm thinking a library....
I could just see this with gas light or candles.
That light killed the enjoyment of viewing those 3 arched thingy on the wall.
What was the room used for?
Yeah, what was it used for?
It does bring church to mind...
I assume for grieving, much like a funeral home.
Man, what beautiful millwork!!
