Note

Note

I found this curious note inside the building; it reads,

The door is lock you have to let me out.

See you tomorrow.

Before I leave I will tell the police that you are up here OK?

The word "How" seems to be written at the bottom, upside-down.

This note is Freaky!! Frist one on here.
Very cryptic!
THAT is SO VERY disturbing.

Silent hill anybody!
Could there possibly have been someone else there? "The Shining" anybody?
Some jerkoff past visitors probably left this. Maybe.
Could that have been from an explorer who got locked in or lost and left it for his buddies to find?
Strange bussiness.
Very eerie indeed.
very wierd indeed. Who would wright a note like that?
makes you wonder if they did get out :evil grin:
Is that note written by same person, or is it first a call for help or something, and then a answer from somebodyelse, a friend, hwo walked away to tell the police that she or he´s friend have been locked in some room, maybe a isolation room. You can´t talk or scream from an isolation door...and then wrote a note and paste it through the door opening down there, dont know what it is in english...chink, narrow opening something like that. Sorry im just a swedish girl:-P try to solve this curies note....But why wrote "see you tomorrow" hwo wants to spend a night in an old psyhcohospital:-S..wellwell!
Chilling
soooo werid, but cool pic, Still what an odd note lol
"Is that note written by same person, or is it first a call for help or something, and then a answer from somebodyelse, a friend, hwo walked away to tell the police that she or he´s friend have been locked in some room....?"

The handwriting is consistent throughout the note (compare the word "you" in all three lines, for example), and doesn't appear to be frantic as one might expect from someone who is legitimately in trouble.
it's someone's idea of a joke. the writer figures whoever reads this will be looking over their shoulder for the duration of their visit!
It sounds like a Hoax to me.
this is probably a prank because there doesn't seem to be water damage or any mold on the paper so it hasn't been there a very long time
Yeah I wrote that note ages ago...no one ever came for meh D: hahaha
Creepy.
Hey, I was thinking the same thing... How the note looks so clean and fresh. So I'd guess it was left there by some people who dropped in for a visit... However -- it could lead one to write one hell of an interesting ghost story or something...
Seems odd because they are at first asking for rescue, then offering to rescue another. You free me, and I will free you. If someone could free them, why would they need to return the favor.. If you follow my meaning. Open the door and everyone goes free. No need to fetch the police.
YIKES!
Yeah you right Krista...then i go whit the other...creepy little note thing.
Maybe a fellow explorer left it just so people like us could speculate as to the meaning of the note?? Who knows maybe they are out there trolling the web to see if anyone found it and wondering about it. They are probably sitting at their computer(s) having a good laugh. HaHa see what we did...well its just a stray thought I am having here.
You sure that the word "How" was written by a human?
:)
Looks like a chat between... them...
Strange. Hard to say...............
Wow, that kinda looks like my boyfriends handwritting!
Dude, Canada you are SO right! I sense Silent Hillishness in that note!
My take:
Two or more people were in the building surveying it - coworkers. Person A gets stuck in a room and is communicating to Person(s) B on the notecard so they will get person A out - "the door is lock you have to LET ME OUT" and shows it through a window. Person(s) B is trying to figure out the door and is giving person A instructions like 'twist the knob' or 'lift the door' and Person A again writes "How". Person A is freed and people go back to exploring, data collecting/surveying and split ways. Person A eventually leaves and writes a note on the same notecard to Person(s) B so Person(s) B knows A has left - "See you tomorrow" (at work). Person A considers if its okay to leave B alone and decides that it would be best to tell the police (aka security on the grounds) that a coworker is still checking things out in the building so that they know B is there and make sure B gets leaving okay.
Make sense?
I Agree Silent hill for sure!
What an odd note.
I agree with Eli. If you look at the note you notice that the three statements are not all left aligned as if someone wrote this all at once. which leaves me to believe that there was a conversation going on between one person and another using only a note and a glass window in a soundproof area.
Yes, I agree with Eli and Matt... it probably was two workers or people authorized to be in that building... probably however...leaving the note to scare UEs. Funny how people were talking about someone getting lost in the hospital and not finding their way out. That would be one of my concerns also if I went exploring. As for now I am happy just exploring on this website (which is my favorite one!) Thanks Mott!
I kind of agree with MissValentine .

i think its like a series of notes from 2 different people .

the one who wrote 'see you tomorrow' may or may not have been taunting the other person .

cryptic and scary for sure .
I agree with Eli. Although this is a very strange thing to find, for sure.

Or it could be like (Here goes my over active imagination...) Person A is stuck in a room, and for some unknown reason, getting him or her out requires that another person come in and is consequenly stuck. Person A agrees to go to the police to get Person B out if helped...
Yup.

I'd be like, "heck to the no!" haha.
Eli you should write scripts for Law and Order, or Medium, LOL
very neat..
nice writting
h3h3
lol...

xx
It seems the 'How' is in a different script than the rest, maybe that one little bit was a... response? eerie.
ok. my opinion on this whole note thing is that its one person locked inside, but that one person has split personalities. So that is why it seems liek 2 different people and also the same handwriting.........but thats just me. anyone else agree??
Actually is it how unside down or is it a sign? I thought it was Mott right-side up....ooooh....eeeerie!
Did anyone else notice only certain words are in all capitals. It's probably some kind of cypher.
Then of course we have the issue with the locks...they´re probably on the outside so I do not think that someone got locked up accdidentally.....it is all written by the same person....could be a multiple personality disorder....(look at the "t"s, "E"s, "h"s
Or possibly...since the note seems quite new...someone got locked up on purpose for some reason....maybe you guys should chek out whats behind the locked doors....
It looks like more than one person's handwriting.
I agree with MissValentine.
One of the most mysterious photos on this site. really makes me think.
just a thought ...I know a guy who is deaf that I run into once in a great while. I cannot sign so we communicate with paper and pad . we each use a different piece of paper and just show them back and forth. the one sided conversations written seem very confusing if you were to read one and not know the circumstances around it. I have seen people read one an go "WTF?"
I enjoy the writers use of both capital and lowercase "e"s.
maybe it was some kind of suicide note or something? if it was possible u could find out if any emergency services were dispatched or had done some kind of investigation by going through dispatch logs probably
More than likely it was just a bunch of idiotic kids goofing around.
it may just be me, but "how" upside down, the way it's written, looks like "mott"
Maybe it's from people that were working there on shift work. The door is locked so whoever is inside with them cannot get out. When the person B comes in the morning to relieve them, the person A will let the police know that somebody is still in there. Just a thought.
Maybe 'how' is supposed to be 'ooxx' ??
Very curious,
great. now its going to drive me crazy trying to find out what the hell was happening when that note was writen. great pic. great find.
